Annie bach

Annie has been with Orangewood Foundation since 2019. She has worked with nonprofits such as Olive Crest and Boys Town. “I’m glad to be a part of an organization that provides high-quality care and makes a difference in the community,” she says. Annie helps build and maintain the quality of programs and services that Orangewood Foundation offers. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Management and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Outside of work, Annie enjoys playing contact sports and hanging out at home with her great dane. She is also a diehard Pittsburgh Steeler fan.

Sam bobila
Sam joined Orangewood Foundation in 2024, immediately drawn to the mission of supporting youth and the life they envision. She has dedicated her entire career to strengthening communities and has held roles at health care and social service nonprofit organizations. Sam’s expertise is in philanthropy, communications, brand management, and public affairs. She and her husband enjoy being outdoors together and spoiling their rescue dogs — and she loves K-pop.

Garbralle conroe

Garbralle Conroe joined the Orangewood team in April 2024. Prior, she was an educational consultant for various non-profit organizations, and school districts throughout Northern California where she focused on trauma informed practices, and culture diversity. She has over 10 years of experience in mental health with extensive training in Professional & Community Development. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. She enjoys spending time with her husband, reading, and giving back to her community through mentorship.

Joy corpora

Joy joined the Orangewood team in March 2020. She has worked in nonprofit and private organizations, including Fidelity National Financial, CoreLogic, Blizzard, and Ambry Genetics. Joy says, “I believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to succeed, and we should do what we can to support them.” Joy has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership. She holds two HR certifications: SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) and an SPHR (Senior Professional HR). Joy is an adjunct professor at Brandman University. She and her husband are fur parents to two rescue pups.

Nikki dutra

Nikki joined the Orangewood team in early 2022. She has worked in marketing for more than 20 years, first in the private sector and most recently with the young-people-focused nonprofit, Girl Scouts of Orange County. Nikki was drawn to Orangewood because she believes every young person should have the opportunity to reach their full potential. In her free time, Nikki enjoys traveling and going on outdoor adventures with her two teenage daughters and husband. You can also find her reading science fiction and fantasy novels in her garden.

John luker

John joined Orangewood in 2014. He helps the organization save money and run efficiently so frontline staff can better help young people in Orange County. His passions lies in the mission of Orangewood: to help young people reach their greatest potential. John was recognized by CALCPA and the Orange County Business Journal as the 2018 Not for Profit CFO of the Year. When he is not working, John loves to ride his bicycle around Orange County and do outdoor activities with his wife and kids.

Rani mammen

Rani has served young people in the social work field for more than 20 years. She earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in social work from New York and began her career in California in 2004. She worked at Hillsides Home for Children, providing therapy and case management to kids and families in foster care. Now, she is excited to provide an opportunity for young people to heal in safe and supported spaces. She is married and has a 13 year old son and a 10 year old daughter. She is often cheering for her daughter at softball games and practices on weekends. Rani has a strong connection to her faith. She loves listening to music, eating at new places, and traveling with family.

Tiffany mitchell

Tiffany joined the Orangewood team in December 2023. She was previously Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Lutheran Social Services of Southern California. As a seasoned leader in the social impact sector, Tiffany has more than 15 years of experience in developing and implementing innovative programs. She holds a Master’s Degree in Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Doctorate Degree in Applied Clinical Psychology. Tiffany loves Orangewood because she wants to support young people in achieving self-sufficiency. She empowers them to become active participants for positive change within their communities. Tiffany helps young people foster agency and leadership that can have a lasting impact on their lives. She is passionate about health and wellness. Tiffany loves spending time with her family, engaging in outdoor activities, and learning new things.

Enrique montiel

Enrique Montiel joined the Orangewood team in June 2022. He previously worked at Nuevo Amanecer Latino Children’s Services Foster Family Agency for 16 years in roles such as Executive Director. Enrique holds a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from California Polytechnic University of Pomona and a Master’s of Science in Psychology. Enrique is a member of the Renaissance Scholars Program, which is designed to help young people from foster care succeed in college. Having spent 11 years in foster care himself, he joined Orangewood to help at-risk young people in foster care reach success and overcome difficulties within the foster care system.

Tami di paolo

Tami has been with Orangewood Foundation since 2021. She has worked at Boys Town and Bellflower Unified School District, helping young people in our community. Tami is excited to be part of a team where staff are walking alongside young people and offering support when needed. “I love working with a team that is passionate about helping youth. Nothing beats seeing a youth achieving a goal they set for themselves.” Outside of work, Tami enjoys reading, traveling, and visiting the beach with her husband, daughters, and dogs.

Chris simonsen

Chris began his professional career in finance roles, from an accountant in a large accounting firm to CFO of Auto Club. Chris joined Orangewood in 2007 as the CFO and became CEO in 2014. He loves that Orangewood has a wide variety of programs that support young people in making improvements in their lives. “Seeing a smile on a youth’s face after one of their successes, no matter how large or small, it is always rewarding.” Chris loves music. He has seen his favorite band, Metallica, more than 20 times.

Rick joined Orangewood in 2018. He previously worked after at a nonprofit tech company in Silicon Valley for four years. He has worked in IT for more than 10 years, primarily in the nonprofit sector. Rick was drawn to his current position because of his interest in working with underserved and vulnerable communities. “I love getting to work with an amazing group of people and finding ways to improve the technology we provide to better serve our mission and the needs of our youth.” When Rick is not working, he loves traveling with his wife, Lauren, and their dog, Tiberius.
