Founded in 1999 by Susan Samueli with 44 of her closest friends, the 44 Women Auxiliary is a group of women who are passionate about supporting young people from foster care and the Orange County community. The Auxiliary focuses on three key areas: leading unique volunteer efforts, raising awareness about the young people served by Orangewood, and hosting annual fundraising events.
The 44 Women Auxiliary contributes to Orangewood Foundation by amplifying current issues and volunteering to support lasting systemic change in Orange County.
