Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

“
Receiving a housing voucher was a life-changing opportunity, and I made the most of Orangewood Foundation’s support with rent, furniture, mentorship, and groceries. With this steppingstone, I’m now in a position to focus on my nursing career and create a better future for me and my daughter.

“
After my Nana passed, I was a single mom working two jobs and starting college while living in transitional housing. I pushed forward, found resources, and secured a housing voucher through Orangewood Foundation. Now, I have a family, a career helping youth, and a home—proving to myself that I can always create something better.

“
I put myself out there and asked for help, and because of that, my son and I now have a home where we feel safe and loved. I set goals—going back to school, getting a better job, saving money—and Orangewood Foundation gave me the tools to make them happen. Looking back, I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

“
I’ve been working hard to build a better life for myself. In just a month, I worked with the Orangewood Foundation team to get my California ID, permit, and driver’s license. Now I can drive to work and school, which makes my day a lot easier. Balancing work and school is tough, but I’m determined to make it.
