Amika’s Corporate Partnership with Orangewood – Supporting Young Adults

Our journey with Amika began in March 2024 at their spring conference, when their team rolled up their sleeves to assemble over 600 hygiene kits for young adults facing challenges such as housing instability and financial hardship. During the event, Amika also donated three months’ worth of haircare products in partnership with their friends at OCOA – Curly Hair Care. 

As the Amika team put it,

And we’re proud to say that Amika is now our friend, too. 

Inspired by the impact they could make, Amika expanded their support in an extraordinary way. In January 2025, we received a generous $100,000 in-kind donation consisting of four pallets of premium haircare products. This contribution ensures that our young people—many of whom have never had access to high-quality self-care products—can now experience the confidence and empowerment that come with personal wellness. From shampoos and conditioners to styling essentials designed for all hair types, Amika’s products will sustain our needs for over six months, making a tangible difference in the daily lives of our youth.
