Workshops & one-on-one support for young people from foster care

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

“
Alongside everything, I’ve been exploring necessary vision care with my ILP case manager. It’s important to me to stay on top of my health, and they’ve been really helpful in guiding me through the process.
Even with all the work and school, I try to make time for myself. I like playing video games and going to the theater. Recently, I got to see a free play, thanks to an invite from the Orangewood Foundation ILP Workshop & Events program.

“
I’ve been working hard to build a better life for myself. In just a month, I worked with the Orangewood Foundation team to get my California ID, permit, and driver’s license. Now I can drive to work and school, which makes my day a lot easier.
I want to become a pilot, and I know that if I work hard and stay focused, I can make this dream come true. My journey is all about perseverance and hope. I’ve made a lot of progress and keep working hard every day to reach my goals.
