OUR PROGRAMS / Independent Living Program

Workshops & one-on-one support for young people from foster care

LIFE SKILLS & EMPLOYMENT

Are you currently in foster care or were you previously? The Independent Living Program (ILP) provides workshops and one-on-one guidance and support services to help you prepare for independence. Our goal is to help young people ages 16 to 21 learn and experience the independent living skills necessary for adulthood.

Learn more about ILP to see if the program is right for you!

Program partially funded by OC Social Services Agency.

Build Your Support System for Independence

The Independent Living Program (ILP) helps young people transition from foster care to adulthood with essential life skills and support. Through one-on-one support, participants receive guidance on education, careers, housing, and financial literacy. ILP also offers workshops and events to gain hands-on experience and the potential to earn financial incentives. With nine months of structured support, young adults build confidence and independence.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
