01/14/2022 - 44 Women Education Luncheon

Thursday, February 24, 2022
Balboa Bay Resort

Reimagining Justice for Youth

Join the 44 Women for Orangewood at this luncheon to learn and be inspired by the important work being led by The Honorable Judge Maria Hernandez in the innovative new Young Adult Court. Systemic inequities can create lifelong barriers for young men who make mistakes- like stealing a bike- resulting in felony convictions. Judge Hernandez believes there is a different path forward for these young men- a path where they are able to find housing, become employed, start families of their own, and become truly integrated contributing members of our community.

If you have questions about the event, please contact info@orangewoodfoundation.org.

We renovated our kitchen! Prior to the renovation, our kitchen hadn’t been updated since 2004. We celebrated with a Kitchen Open House with the help of California Love Drop who provided lunch for our supporters, staff and youth! 🎉Thank you, Kelly Bozza, Tom Ward, Mohitt Mittal & Shveta Goel, Alan & Melissa Clifton, Dan and Vivien Hyman, Trimark, Chefs Toys and the many donors who made our new kitchen a reality. We’re ready to serve more youth and create more meaningful connections.
