We provide one-on-one assistance tailored to help you successfully transition into housing through comprehensive Medi-Cal services.

Choose When & How You'll Find a Place to Stay

Access daily supplies and skill-building support or

learn how to sign your lease. Wherever you are in your

journey, we’re here to help with this step-by-step

process:

Navigation

We’ll help you research apartments, vouchers, and housing programs that you might be eligible for.

You can also receive $5,000 to cover one-time move-in expenses, like furniture or deposits.

Tenancy and Sustainability

Work with us for a full year to understand your lease and learn skills to maintain stable housing.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be 18-25 years old
  • Be currently experiencing homelessness in Orange County
  • Be an Orange County Medi-Cal member
  • Be actively participating in an Orangewood
    Foundation program
  • Receive support from the Orangewood team four times a month to help navigate your path to stable housing

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Be 18–25 years old 
  • Agree to live in a non-smoking apartment 
  • Be willing to participate in safety planning 
  • Be responsible for your own transportation  
  • Set goals and monitor your progress with the Orangewood team 
  • Pay monthly rent on time 
  • Agree to monthly visits for cleanliness 
  • Look for permanent housing throughout your stay with our help
